Fiona Ayerst is a professional photographer with a diverse lifestyle portfolio. Fiona’s passion is for images, which include water in all its different guises. Perhaps Fiona was a mermaid in a previous life! Both above and under water, Fiona’s talent penetrates each image, as she pushes herself to the limit to capture the essence, beauty and intensity of the world. Fiona’s distinctive vision creates purely unique images.
Fiona has won numerous international awards and in 2003 was awarded the title of Wildlife Photographer of the year in South Africa. Fiona has been commissioned as the photographer for South African, German and French productions on underwater life in Southern Africa. Fiona’s photos appear in various international “coffee table” books alongside those of the best underwater photographers in the world.
